Valentines 2012

For Valentines this year I went all out ........ kinda.....
We had Stuffed french toast with strawberry jam, and topped with a strawberry cut to look like a heart.  Braxton was so happy when I set it down in front of him!  (Even if he had to eat it super fast because mom forgot to tun the griddle on so the french toast took an extra long time to cook! : O )

We got together with my parents and had a fun valentines dinner.   I gave the boys some color wonder paints and markers, they were so excited to paint! It was really nice to not have a mess after they had painted as well.  Now all Braxton wants to do is paint!! :)

The drink was a pineapple juice, pink lemonade, raspberry sherbet, Sprite Zero  and topped with a strawberry. I merged a few ideas from pintrest...
Our garlic bread shaped like hearts.
The yummy salad complete with strawberry's and raspberry vinaigrette.
 Fruit salsa

The whole shebang!!  Pasta, veggies, salad and bread.

and let's not forget desert...heart shaped brownies :)

Fun at preschool! n more

They had a bears in the cave pajama day at preschool where they were supposed to wear pajamas, bring a bear, and pillow ans blanket.  Braxton LOVES going to preschool, but with all the fun days he gets even more excited!!

Braxton got to be the Happy Helper at preschool.  (They get to be the happy helper about every other month.) They take a snack to share, their favorite book, and a show and tale.  So he took chocolate pudding, his airplane( it's red and on top of the pudding) and he picked out "The Bears and the Great Big Storm."
He was very excited to be able to pick out a pointer and a bell for Mrs. Ashley to use that day!!

Braxton and his Valentines Monster.  He helped mom and dad make it.  He chose the colors helped glue things on, he was very proud of that monster!!  Mom had to sneak it into the trash can 2 weeks later... bad mom :(
He was talking to him...so cute and candid.
Braxton at preschool in his 'love bug' hat
Boston running around like a crazy man wishing he could go to preschool too!!

For Dr. Seuss week they got to have crazy hair, I asked him what color he wanted and he chose blue....it was a little more tealish but looked awesome!!  He loved looking at it in the mirror.

Every Saturday we try and go hiking with grandma and grandpa Harding.  The boys absolutely love it, they love the sunshine, sand, holes they can climb in and of course the yummy snacks! :)
