Bathroom Pics

Yeah!

So our bathrooms are finally finished! Oh my gosh they look amazing~ the bad news is my digital camera broke, so we have used a disposable camera and now i have to get them developed and such....so as soon as I get them I will post so that you can see how amazing it looks! Josh did a wonderful job! :) It kinda puts the rest of the house to shame now that they are so updated! Oh well more projects for other days! Hope all is well with everyone!

The Finished Product!

We finished the yard off by planting flowers and veggies and strawberries! These are the flowers

Josh planted the slightly off center yellow flowers! But I love him for helping! :)

The mostly finished yard!

So we decided to put the sod in today! Yeah for grass! It feels so good underneath my toes!!! We are very excited~ we still need to do the flower boxes and put new heads on the sprinklers...but overall it looks 150% better than the dirt! YIPPY SKIPPY

Back Yard

Hey so no pics yet, I found the camera and then let my hubby take it, I promise you can see some soon! But Sat we tore out 5 huge plants/trees. So now the whole back yard is dirt....except our massive apple tree! The dogs have managed to get very dirty playing outside....we need to get our sod in fast, I hope next sat is fast enough!

Movin' In

So we started moving our stuff in on Tues. We got alot of stuff moved into the garage but the house was a bit of a mess (piles of stuff everywhere). We stayed up till 1:30 trying to get things organized enough that we could find somewhere to sleep!

The best news was that the water heater wasn't on, because the previous owners had turned the gas off on the meter (we thought they had it shut off)! So Freezing cold shower for Josh and a sponge bath for Les! Last night we got the water heater turned on though so this morning was a warm shower!

We got a ton more things done last night too! we actually have a bed that is made, and bed's in the extra rooms.....we have our couches organized and the kitchen is getting there! But we did go buy groceries so we have food to eat! YEAH!

I'll post some pics as soon as I find the camera in the piles of boxes!

EXCESS

OK so as the house becomes closer and closer to being ours I complied a list of things that we have! Lets just say we have been very blessed that all of our older friends have given us things that they no longer wanted ( when they decided to re-do a room).
~We get to keep all of the furniture that is currently in the house. That consists of a TV (like 1920's) entertainment center, coffee table, couch(1960's) washer & Dryer ( which we already have a set of) and the bed in the master its' a queen ! There are also a few quilts and cleaning supplies and what not!
~~ So all together we have 6 bed's ( 1 king, 1 queen and 4 twins)!
~~We have 5 couches,( 2 full size, one hideabed, 2 love seats) and one big comfy chair!)
~~3 TVs though the antique is just that an antique~ we have 6 coffee tables/end tables! Good crap we have a lot of overage! We are thinking that a yard sale might be in order sometime in the near future!!!

But all in all we are very excited to get started moving in, Josh talked to our mortgage lady and found out that we might get to close early....Thurs or Friday of this week! (it was supposed to be the 29th)

A nEw HOmE

Josh & I put an offer in on a home, and it was accepted! We close on the 29th of April~ we are very excited it is on .19 acres and has 1,836 sq feet 3 bedrooms and 2.25 bathrooms!
