June in a nutshell~

We're expecting!

Good job Nicole!  She figured out my riddle--- Josh and I are expecting a new addition in late August Early September!  We are so excited for Braxton to be a big brother!

I've had 2 doctors appointments and listened to the crazy fast heart beat, you forget that feeling the first time you hear it!  Just unexplainable.  I'm starting to get a little bit of a baby bump, I had Josh take a pic on Friday so I could share it with you........

Labor & Delivery

Labor was not that bad! I went into labor at 3 in the morning, on the 31st. We hung out at the house and I showered and what not, then headed into the hospital about 6:30. My contractions had been about 5 minutes apart since 4 am. When we got there the attending nurse was telling me that it's really common for first time mom's to be sent home, well when she checked me and I was at a 4+ she decided that I really was going to have the baby. My doctor happened to be at the hospital delivering another baby so he peeked in and told her to admit me and he'd break my water.
I went natural until I was a little more than a 8 and my contractions were a minute apart, I started throwing up and decided that it was time for the epidural. After that I took a little nap then the Dr. came in and said that we were ready to push!
I pushed for an hour, and then our wonderful little boy was born at 5:07pm. Josh was fascinated by the whole thing and thought that it was wonderful. He was able to cut the umbilical cord as well.

Braxton is Here!

Our sweet little boy has arrived! He came at 5:07 pm on December 31st! He weighed in at 7lbs 15ounces and 20 inches long! We will post pictures and tell you more when we have the time and energy! Josh loves him, so! He's just a little protective of him!:)

Practice makes perfect!

While we were putting away all the gifts from the baby shower Josh decided he needed to practice, so he got out an old stuffed animal and practiced wrapping him up! It was so cute, I couldn't resist the pic! Boy do I love him!

Baby Shower in O-Town

This last weekend was crazy! We headed up to Northern Utah for a fun filled weekend of BABY! I had 2 different bridal showers on Sat. My amazing girlfriend threw me a friend shower, and my mommy threw me a family shower. Braxton is one spoiled little boy, he got some of the cutest outfits and toys! I'm doing all I can to keep Josh away from the toys & soft blankets until he is born! ( I'm pretty sure Josh thinks that the showers were for him!) It was lots of fun and a big THANKS to everyone who came and played with me!

The baby food was less than appetizing to a few of the girls! I can't wait till they have to feed this to their kids!

Cutting the cake! It felt like someone needed to shove the first piece in my face! :) Good thing Josh off playing football with the boys!

Nursery

So I'm sure all of you would love to have a room in your house just like this one so take a number and my hubby will do what he can to make the rounds! :) Just remember he's pricey!

Happy Day!

It's a happy day in the Johnson household- daddy was finally able to feel Braxton kick this morning! He was excited he's been waiting and waiting since I've felt him for about a month now. Well that is about all that is new...Leslie is loving the kids this year....she is finally getting all situated in her new school and can find things most of the time! Ha Ha though it might take a search party! Hope all is well with everyone else! The ultra sound pics are still coming....I need to scan them(taking a picture of a picture is not turning out well).
