Santa Clause is Coming To Town

Foto Fly Santa did not disappoint!  We got some amazing shots and the boys couldn't stop talking about Santa and the cookies and candy canes! :)  We will see you again next year Santa! :)

We headed out to Tuachan for the Live Nativity and festivities December 22nd.  Mommy and the boys rode the camel, it was totally worth the $5 a person...( well mommy rode free so Boston could be safe) Braxton loved it and kept talking about how the camel rocked back and forth.  Boston thought it was pretty cool too.   Now we can officially check riding a camel off of our Bucket List! :)  

 They always have the little paintings that you can be part of the show....well Boston looks like he could definitely be an elf.......Santa look for a job application in the near future!  and well Josh makes a pretty good camel, watch out Horhey!!!

  We also rode the train....Boston kept saying "I so happy"  while we waited in line....he couldn't stop grinning.  Braxton loved the train ride and looking at the star they had on top of the building.

Braxton got to make some Reindeer food at preschool so we had the boys go out and spread it on the grass so the reindeer would know where to stop and have a little something to munch on while they waited for Santa.  (Christmas morning Boston was so excited to go out and see if the food was gone, he came in and said they ate it!!!) 
We also had our traditional Christmas Eve jammies and cookies& milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

The boys loved their presents.....they seriously played with them all day!  They went back and forth and shared nicely for the most part!  We sure enjoyed watching their enthusiasm...Braxton wrote multiple letters to Santa and even wrote him a thank you note on Christmas Day!  

  

Jingle Bell Run 2012

We signed up for the Jingle Bell Run 5k and Kids 1K with the elves......All we heard about for the 2 weeks prior was how Braxton was going to run the fastest and win the Jingle Bell Run.  So needless to say when the day finally came he was so excited to get all ready and RUN!!

Karen running in the 5KOur team did lots of winning!  Josh won the whole race, Karen came in 2nd  overall and 1st in her age division.  Mary took 1st in her age division and Dee Dee took 1st in hers as well.  Jeff and Leslie pushed the stroller and had already run with the boys in their race but they didn't do too shabby!!  Our team won the best costumes too!  Karen came up with the team name and Leslie ran with it and made the fun shirts! :)  It was so much fun to have the whole family at the race.  We are excited to do it again!!

For Christmas this year we were up in SLC we stayed with Josh's sis Jamie and her hubby Chase.  This is their dog Brody opening his present from our dogs Buddy & Jake.  He is really getting into it, pushing it all around, hilarious! :)

When we got home from Salt Lake we had Christmas with Grandma Karen and Grandpa Jeff, didn't get any pics but he sure got spoiled!!  He loved every minute of Christmas!

It's CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Josh is so excited that it's Christmas time! We spent thanksgiving in SLC and went to see the Lights on temple square.......note to self the night after they light them you should not try and go see them, the grounds are shoulder to shoulder! But it was fun to see the lights and be with family and friends!

After the lights we went to Leatherby's for ice cream, this was what Josh's looked like! You should have seen everyone staring at him :) the menu didn't mention how large it was, and it was called Grandma's creamery ice cream, who would think that a grandma would eat that much! Well needless to say he didn't finish it while we were there, but he sure did finish it after I went to bed that night! That boy can eat ice cream!
